From creating work featuring Australia's very own Hollywood diva to Russian oligarch spokes-kats,  tight-shorted pioneers of assistance and Aussie-loving Finnish folk, my  philosophy is simple:   a belief in writing 'sticky', popular, entertaining  work  that not only emotionally connects with consumers  but delivers an unfair share of voice across a diverse number  of channels.

Everything from activations starring  a hologram performing 'Gramophone Jockey', social experiments that demonstrate the mental benefits of fitness,  apps that teach kids football,   grown-ups to mix drinks and homeowners to protect their home. 

I've also been fortunate enough to have worked for and held leadership roles at some of the most respected ad agencies in both hemispheres of the world.  From WCRS and Grey in the UK to Clemenger BBDO  (Group Head), Leo Burnett (Creative Director), M&Saatchi (Creative Director) and VCCP (Executive Creative Director) in Sydney. 

To date, I've helped shape brand platforms for many of  the world's most iconic  and  innovative brands, driving fame  and business results along the way. 

In the UK: The National Lottery, BMW, Woodpecker Cider, Nectar (UK's largest loyalty rewards program), Heart FM (London's favourite radio station), 118 118 (Directory Assistance Service)

In   Australia: ING,  NRMA Insurance, CommBank, Pepsi, Subaru, Fitness First, McDonald's, Diageo, Masterfoods, Earth Hour, St.Vincent de Paul, Visa, Smiths Chips, Heineken, wotif.com, CPA, Johnson & Johnson,  Torrens University, hipages  and more.

As a result of  working in partnership with some great clients and colleagues my work   has been recognised  at  both international  and local  award shows. (See 'AWARDS ' page for more detail). 

I've also attended Hyper Island intensive training courses twice. If you want to shake up your thinking on the role of of advertising in today's fast evolving world I'd highly recommend it!   

In 2016 I became Executive Creative Director at VCCP Sydney, helping reset and grow an agency with world-class creative credentials in the Australian market.  Working closely with the UK management, I hired a new leadership team, reshaped the creative department,  integrated world-class design capabilities into our offering,  redefined our 'go to market' story, launched our CX capabilities and won multiple pitches including:    Purplebricks, hipages, NSW Culture, Feros Care, Fruits and Roots (Campbell Arnott's), Cancer Council Australia and Laureate (Torrens) University . 

​What's more, in those three years we were nominated twice and won AdNews 'Small Agency Of The Year'. We were also recognised by Campaign Brief as being a 'Mover and Shaker', and picked up  both international and local awards for ING. 

I'm currently working on a project basis  for a number   of agencies and clients including   Emotive, M&C Saatchi  and The Royals  producing work  for Mount Franklin Water,   Hello Fresh, MyState, OzHarvest, Woolworths Insurance as  numerous pitches. 

When not working, I spend time with my family enjoying the famous outdoor Aussie lifestyle. 

I'm not writing a film or book. 

Actually, I am  but that's another story.
